Fashion Parade 2014 has held in Kensington Palace London
showcasing some of the renowend Pakistani fashion designers, retail
labels and international brands. This platform is set out to present
Pakistan’s talented designers at an International forum.
Zara Shahjahan presented her latest Jungle Floral Inspired “Love Bug” collection. “Love Bug” has been conceptualized as a contemporary and leading-edge PrĂȘt collection
with insect prints and embellished designs. Each print pattern has
avant-garde aesthetics and artsy embellishments making each ensemble a
statement piece.
Fabrics used mostly consist of silks and
organza with tulle as the surface fabric for dresses. All
embellishments have been hand developed in-house using French knots, studs, crystals and stones..
The style comprises of straight and
structured silhouettes, higher hemlines and an extremely fresh color
palette with splashes of lime green and lemon yellow with black as the

by Zara Shahjahan consists of globally trending separates such as
cropped tops paired with high waist pants, structured skirts and form
fitting pant suits.
The designer incorporated an ethnic Central Asian weaves and vintage Russian Chintz informed design in her prints with luxurious fabric of silk. Fresh spring colours are used truly inspired by nature.
